The BSGH is non-profit club based in Central Connecticut that aims to promote interest and enjoyment of bonsai by assembling and making available information on its culture, and to acquaint bonsai fanciers with each other.

bonsai (common): the difficult and often depressing art of killing such plants

Humorous? Yes. But true in that it happens to all bonsai enthusiasts. Bonsai is an art that relies on an understanding of individual species, local conditions, and techniques for thriving in limited soil.
